DEMOLUX is a high-explosive that was developed as part of research on behalf of explosion welding. DEMOLUX can achieve maximum results with minimum explosive quantities. It is particularly suitable for small spaces where particularly high explosive force is required (e.g. in steel structures). |

Properties
DEMOLUX has the following benefits

All ingredients are 100% explosives, i.e. the explosive is free from non-explosive binding agents

Very high detonation velocity of around 7900 m/s

High density of 1.7 g/cm3

High detonation pressure of more than 250 000 bar, i.e. around twice the value of gelatinous explosives

The above properties give the product particularly high explosive power

With 20 J the impact sensitivity is approximately as low as TNT

The explosive is relatively insensitive to friction

Good kneadability in conjunction with high dimensional stability and adhesive strength guarantees optimum contact between explosive and object, which ensures maximum effect
