Isleten Peninsula

Since the road between Seedorf and Isenthal was built in 1951 Isleten peninsula has become an increasingly popular tourist destination. The emergence of surfing as a sport, the marking of a climbing wall, the creation of a dedicated bathing area and the Swiss Path have further enhanced its attractiveness. The area is accessible by boat and via the post bus route between Altdorf and Isenthal, and newly created car parks cater for motorised visitors. Seegarten Restaurant is a popular destination for short breaks on the Swiss path or for copious enjoyment of the house specialities.

The dismantling and removal of the old explosives production facilities opens up further opportunities for the area. Numerous buildings and rooms can be hired for a wide range of purposes, and we are always interested in new, forward-looking projects.
